Police in Bulgaria's capital Sofia have detained a man of Turkish nationality carrying half a kilogram of heroin, daily 24 Chasa reports.
The man has been arrested in the neighborhood of Studentski Grad, in the southeast of the capital, where a number of university dorms are located.
The drug was designated for domestic sale.
A police operation is being carried out in the apartment where the Turkish national resides.
Authorities say the man detained is neither studying nor working in Bulgaria as of the moment.
