Sudanese musician Prof. Alfateh Hussain and his troupe will perform their Toum-Toum Show in the Central Army Club in Sofia on 19 August 2016, Sofia-based daily 24 Chasa has announced.

The famous Sudanese guitar player and composer will then visit the city of Burgas, on the Black Sea coast, where he and his troupe will also give a concert.

The Toum-Toum Show is a music and dance extravaganza displaying the national character of the African country, 24 Chasa said.

The visit of Prof. Alfateh Hussain and his troupe is part of the efforts of Sudan’s Ambassador to Sofia Mme Ilham Ibrahim Mohamed Ahmed to promote the culture of her country.

Bulgaria established diplomatic relations with Sudan 60 years ago, in July 1956.
