Seven people, including three children, have been left injured in a crash in the area of Weisskirchen, Austria, local media reports.

The incident unfolded as three vehicles collided into each other on the A25 motorway between Linz and Wels.

A minivan was driven by a 28-year-old Bulgarian, who reportedly fell asleep hitting another vehicle whose driver was a 36-year-old Serbian, the website Nachrichten.at reports.

The minivan tumbled over as a result.

The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry has reported that four Bulgarian nationals were initially admitted to hospital, but then released with no serious injuries.
