Bulgaria: Pakistan’s Envoy-Designate Calls on Businesses to Build Closer Ties with Bulgaria

Pakistan's Ambassador-designate to Bulgaria Babar Hashmi has urged Pakistani businessto explore bilateral trade with Bulgaria, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) has reported.

During a visit to Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Saturday, Babar Hashmi said that Pakistani businesses should focus on Bulgaria as the country was a gateway to enter Southeastern Europe for promoting Pakistani trade and exports, according to the APP.

Pakistani goods including leather products, surgical instruments, textiles, fish products could be of great interest to Bulgarian consumers, Babar Hashmi said.

He added that the ICCI should take a trade delegation to Bulgaria while the Pakistani Embassy would extend all possible facilitation to make its visit successful, according to APP.
