'No Shopping on February 13!' – Bulgarians Urged to Boycott Supermarkets Over High Prices
Four civil organizations have called for a mass supermarket boycott on February 13 to protest soaring food prices
The Bulgarian men's national football team dropped one position in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released on Thursday.
At present, Bulgaria has 494 points and occupies the 72nd place between the teams of Israel and Uzbekistan.
There are no changes among the top twenty teams in the ranking, with Belgium retaining its first position, followed by 2014 World Cup runner-up Argentina and reigning European champion Spain.
The last official match of Bulgaria was in October last year , when it defeated Azerbaijan 2:0 in a EURO 2016 qualifier.
However Bulgaria will not participate at this year's European Championship, which will be held in France after it finished fourth in qualification group H behind the teams of Italy, Croatia and Norway.
In the next months Bulgaria will be preparing for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers as the team was drawn in a very tough group with the teams of the Netherlands, France, Sweden, Belarus and Luxembourg.
Bulgaria begins the qualifications by hosting Luxembourg on September 6.
