The number of road traffic victims in Bulgaria registered an increase in 2015. In this way, the trend which has been established in the past years has been sustained.

This becomes evident from the latest figures of the interior ministry as available of Tuesday, daily Dnevnik informs.

Since the beginning of the year, there have been 7172 road accidents, in which 678 people were killed.

For comparison, there were 6966 road accidents and 651 victims between January 1 and December 29 last year.
