New data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI) sheds light on the housing landscape in Bulgaria, painting a picture of the majority of Bulgarians residing in older homes.
Two of Crotia's greatest footballers - Zvonimir Boban and Davor Suker confirmed their participation in the show celebrating next year's 50th anniversary of Bulgarian football legend Hristo Stoichkov.
Boban and Suker were two of the leaders of the legendary Croatian team of the 1990s, which finished third at the 1998 World Cup.
The show entitled "50 years number 8" (after Stoichkov's jersey number) will take place at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia on 20 May 2016.
The show will bring Bulgarian and international football stars from the recent past and the present.
The participants will be split into two teams depending on whether they rely on their left foot or prefer to play with their right foot.
So far, a total of fifteen players have confirmed their participation, with the names of the remaining participants to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The first to confirm was Argentina's Diego Maradona, followed by Colombian Carlos Valderrama, Romanian stars Gheorghe Hagi and Gheorghe Popescu, goalkeepers Jorge Campos (Mexico) and Jose Luis Chilavert (Paraguay), Chilean Ivan Zamorano and Italy's Daniele Massaro, Gianfranco Zola and Antonio Benarrivo.
