Bulgaria Ranks Third in EU for Minimum Wage Growth Over the Last Decade
Bulgaria has ranked third among European Union countries in terms of minimum wage growth over the past decad
Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov has made clear Bulgaria is ready to support and provide assistance to France and contribute to the end of the conflict in Syria.
On the sidelines of a Parliament hearing, he has added that France hasn't yet demanded assistance, but Sofia will respond adequately if such a request comes.
"It [needn't] be military [assistance], it might be logistical, might be help with information," the Bulgarian National Radio quotes him as saying.
This comes after France formally invoked the EU's mutual assistance clause under the Treaty on European Union over the attacks which killed 129 people and left hundreds injured on Friday.
Mitov, however, ruled out that Bulgaria could become part of military action "at this stage", referring to possible operations against armed groups fighting in Syria.
At the same time, he underlined it was unimaginable that the Islamic State (IS) group, which claimed responsibility for the Paris attacks, could be "eradicated from Syria and Iraq without a land operation." He made similar comments earlier this week, referring to a possible intervention that should be carried out by Gulf states.
