Bulgaria: EP Head Warns Against Change in Approach to Migration after Paris Attacks (L-R) Federica Mogherini, French Secretary of State for European Affairs Harlem Desir, Jean-Claude Juncker and Martin Schulz during a minute of silence for the victims of Paris attacks at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, 17 November 2015. European Parliament President Martin Schulz has said that the EU shouldn’t change its approach to the migration crisis in the wake of last week’s deadly Paris attacks committed by Islamic militants.

“We will not allow ourselves to be poisoned by the venom of these criminals,” Schulz said at a ceremony in the EP plenary chamber in Brussels on Tuesday held to commemorate the victims of the November 13 terror attacks in the French capital.

“If we start suspecting all the refugees from Syria, we are throwing in the same bag the victims and the murderers and that is exactly what they are looking for," Schulz said, according to a news release posted on the EP website.
