FlixBus Expands Routes from Bulgaria: New Connections to Thessaloniki, Athens, and More
FlixBus, the renowned European bus company, is set to launch new routes to and from Bulgaria in anticipation of the summer season
One of the founders and lead guitarist of British rock band Queen, Brian May, will perform for the fist time in Bulgaria on 16 March 2016.
May is one of the greatest guitarists of all time and the author of some of Queen's greatest hits such as “We Will Rock You”, “Who Wants To Live Forever”, “The Show Must Go On”, “I Want It All”, “Save Me”.
In the Bulgarian capital, he will be accompanied by British singer and actress, Kerry Ellis, who will perform as part of their joint tour ONE VOICE.
May and Ellis first met in London during the auditions for the debut performance of the “We Will Rock You” musical, which is based on the songs of Queen.
Impressed by her talent, May selected Ellis for the role of Meat and later was producer of her debut album “Anthems”, which came out in 2010.
The two will perform new versions of popular hits of Queen, Beatles, Kansas as well as their favourite classics, including their joint song “One Voice”.
Their concert, which will take place at 20 o'clock (EET) in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK) in Sofia is part of the programme of the 20th anniversary edition of Sofia Film Fest.
The history of the film festival is closely linked to music as it initially started as a Music Film Fest in the 1990s and has shown many of the iconic musical films throughout the years
The tickets for the concert cost between BGN 50 and 120 and went on sale on Thursday.
The tickets are available for purchase at the ticket centre of NDK, online at ticketpro.bg or at the cash-desks of Ticketpro's partners.
