Bulgaria: British Tourist Missing in Sea at Bulgaria’s Sunny Beach Resort

A Brirish national on holiday in Bulgaria is missing after being swept out to sea in the Sunny Beach resort, the BBC has reported

Ethan McKen, 24, a teacher from Nottingham was hit by a wave and couldn’t make it back to shore on Saturday morning. The friends who were with McKen were unable to find him, the BBC said, citing a family member.

McKen, 24, from Nottingham was travelling with a group of five friends to the resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, according to ITV.

“A British national has been reported missing in Bulgaria. We are providing consular assistance to the family at this difficult time,”  The Guardian quoted a Foreign Office spokesman as saying.
