‘Strong’ evidence suggests the Bardo Museum attack in Tunisia’s capital in March is linked to the beach shooting in the country’s resort of Sousse in June, according to British police, the BBC reported on Wednesday.

“Metropolitan Police counter-terrorism officers say they are now connecting the two attacks based on evidence,” the BBC revealed.

Thirty-eight tourists, including 30 British nationals, were killed when a gunman opened fire on a beach in Sousse. After shooting on the beach, the attacker entered a hotel and shot more tourists.

The Islamic State group later said it was behind the attack.

The IS has also claimed responsibility for the Bardo Museum attack in which 23 people were killed, including 18 foreign tourists.
