Turnover of Bulgarian Stock Exchange Down 68% Y/Y in H1, 2015

The Bulgarian Stock Exchange-Sofia (BSE-Sofia) has reported a 68% decrease in turnover to BGN 250,6 M on the year in the first half of 2015.

June 2015 brought a 65% decrease on the year to BGN 26,4 M, according to data of BSE-Sofia.

June was the last month with the active participation of collapsed lender Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB, Corpbank) in the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and the turnover of the bank stood at BGN 31,7 M and at BGN 187 M for the first half of 2014.

KTB was among the top three generators of turnover of the BSE-Sofia over a period of six years, the two others being Bulgartabac Holding AD, and Petrol AD.

The turnover of BSE-Sofia of BGN 26.4 M in June failed to reach the absolute bottom of BGN 23,2 M for the past ten years reached in July 2014, according to investor.bg.
