By losing 4:7, 6:7, Dimitrov failed to defend the Aegon championship title he reaped last year.
Dimitrov is still unable to end a series of defeats in a tough season that began in end-2014. He is currently placed 11th in the ATP rankings and was 10th at the same time of last year.
