Half of the Bulgarian voters are skeptical towards the Second Borisov administration. Approximately 25% of people hold the opinion that the government is trustworthy and the same amount of people have no opinion.

The data has been revealed through research conducted by Mediana Agency, involving 1004 voters from across the country.

The results showed that if the elections were held today, 23,3% of people would vote for ruling party GERB, then the socialists would get 18,7% of the votes, and the liberal DPS party would get 8,9%. The nationalistic Patriotic Front, and Ataka party would follow with 5% and 4,3%, and the Reformatorski Bloc and ABV, who are also a part of the current government, would get 4% and 2,8% of the votes.

According to the research, the government has achieved an ''average'' public trust score.

However, merely 22% of the surveyed people stated that they expect the planned reforms to bring about a positive effect. Another 60% believe that the changes will either bring no positive effect or will have more of a negative impact on society.

Additionally, 66% of the surveyed believe Bulgarian foreign policy to be '' subjected to foreign political and economic interests''.

The research also surveyed people on their opinions of the proposed referendum on voting rules by President Rosen Plevneliev. The majority (57%) had no idea what the referendum will be about and what the question would be.
