Bulgaria is running 10 investment projects in Vietnam with total registered capital of USD 31 M, vietnam.net reported on Friday.

The projects are in the sectors of processing industry, manufacturing, information and communication, science-technology and services, the news outlet said, reporting on the start of a visit of the country's Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to Bulgaria.

Two-way trade totalled USD 88 M last year, according to vietnam.net.

Vietnam's exports to Bulgaria comprised mainly garments and textile, footwear, coffee, pepper, tobacco, coal and seafood. The Asian country imported chemicals, medicines, wine, machines, shipbuilding equipment, and animal feed from Bulgaria.
