No Bulgarian military personnel has been affected by the suicide bombing that claimed the lives of at least three people near Kabul main airport on Sunday morning, the Defence Ministry in Sofia said in a statement.

Bulgaria has some 110 military personnel taking part in NATO-led Resolute Support  Mission in Afghanistan who deployed in Kandahar and Kabul. They are tasked with guarding Kandahar International Airport and advising and assisting an Afghan army corps.
