Bulgaria's Council of Ministers has approved the establishment of an honorary consulate for Namibia in Bulgaria
An overcrowded hall with curious children and adults holding their breaths welcomed the famous illusionist DMC, who made a real show of undoubted talent at the Sofia Science Festival on Friday.
The magician, whose tricks appears on the National Geographic Channel, on several occasions called on the spectators to pursue their dreams.
Drummond Money-Coutts, better known as DMC, became interested in magic at the age of ten.
Something so unusual, yet exciting filled his thoughts every day.
Born in the noble British Latymer family, he was drawn by numbers and tricks from his childhood.
In 1994 he visited the oldest magic shop in London and the passion for magic has stayed with him ever since.
Although he is only 29 years old, his name is known worldwide, while his daring tricks amaze and entertain his live audiences and the spectators of National Geographic.
He was inspired by the brilliant minds of Harry Houdini, known for his sensational escape acts, Karl Zener, who worked on extra-sensory perception (ESP) and the specialist in spoon bending Uri Geller.
DMC mastered their tricks, adding some elements of his own and making twists in his live performances.
DMC admitted that as a child he entertained himself by guessing the match scores and mind reading has always been a matter of extreme interest to him.
He managed to demonstrate his remarkable talent to the Bulgarian audience, making it look like a child's play.
His little volunteers were eager to see whether DMC will guess the numbers they had randomly thought of and as expected, the results were always impressive.
The young magician was handling skillfully the cards, numbers and telepathy to the applause of the impressed audience and there is no doubt that he served as inspiration for the kids in the hall.
