Two Bulgarian ministers will unveil the new stand at the Ludogorets Arena stadium in Razgrad on Friday.
Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov and Regional Minister Lilyana Pavlova had been invited to attend the opening ceremony, daily Dnevnik reports.
The opening of the new stand, which will bear the name Moti, will precede the football game between Ludogorets and Lokomotiv Sofia.
Bulgaria’s reigning football champion Ludogorets is close to winning the championship title for a fourth consecutive year.
The new stand will be named after the Romanian defender Cosmin Moti, whose remarkable performance in the second leg of the Champions League play-off against Steaua Bucuresti in 2014 sent his team to the group stage of the tournament.
The owners of the football club brothers Kiril and Georgi Domuschievi will also participate in the opening ceremony and the stand will be consecrated by the metropolitan bishop of Ruse.
The official celebration of the club’s 70th anniversary will start at 18:00 with a performance by Bulgaria’s ten-year-old talent Krisia, who finished second at the 2014 Junior Eurovision.
This will be followed by numerous other surprises, the culmination being the performance of the new anthem of Ludogorets.
