The Bulgarian police found on Friday a new corpse in the lake near the village of Dolni Pasarel, where previously the body of a five-year-old boy had been discovered in a suitcase in March.

The body found on Friday was in such advanced stage of decomposition that even the gender of the corpse could not be identified, private NOVA TV reports.

The police discovered the corpse after they had gone to the area to gather further evidences on the murder of five-year-old Nikita Leontyev, whose corpse was found in a suitcase in the same region.

Earlier on Friday, the Bulgarian Prosecutor's Office charged the Russian citizen German Kostin with the murder of the child.

The prosecution established with almost 100 % certainty that the DNA sample, which was found on the towel in which the boy was wrapped, belonged to Kostin.
