Bulgaria: Armed and Almost Safe

Two trees located in a little garden in the center of the Bulgarian capital Sofia suddenly got armed with axes and started an ambiguous dialogue.

One of them says, ''I think we're safe now'', while the other replies, '' If they don't want peace, they shall get the axe.''

''The action is connected to both legal and illegal constant felding practices all across the country,'' stated the authors of the unusual installation, who are members of the famous formation Destructive Creation, in a short interview for Novinite.bg.

They added that they do not intend to outpower the wood exporters that recently launched mass protests on account of the government imposed moratorium over their activities.

The artists from the project merely aimed at attracting attention on a different viewpoint on the topic - that forrests are only defenseless at a first glance. Perhaps the reference was made to the following floods all across the country.
