''I am not going there for the military parade. I am going to express my gratitude and to honor the 150,000 soldiers who died. Thanks to them we are not obliged to talk in German and to greet each other by ''Heil, Hitler, heil Himler, heil G?ring!'', said the Czech President Milo? Zeman Monday in an interview for local radio station Frekvence.

He made a statement regarding his participation in the Parade on May 9 and further elaborated that without the Soviet union it would have been impossible for Hitler Germany to be defeated.

''The price of the victory is 20 million murdered people and this is why I won't be bothered by any other tank or person at the Red Square in Moscow,'' he added.
