Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic accepted the invitation of the Bulgarian cabinet to hold a joint sitting of the two countries' governments.
This became clear after a meeting between Vucic and Bulgarian Ambassador to Belgrade Angel Dimitrov on Tuesday, Tanjug news agency reports.
The two agreed that the forthcoming visit of Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev to Serbia will strength the bilateral relations.
They identified the proposed joint sitting of governments as beneficial for the political and economic cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.
Energy, infrastructure, tourism and culture were identified as the areas holding the greatest potential for cooperation.
Vucic and Dimitrov highlighted the importance of concluding works on Corridor 10, which will bring closer Sofia and Belgrade.
Dimitrov reaffirmed Bulgaria's support for Serbia's European path and expressed the country's willingness to share its experience on EU accession negotiations with its neighbour.
