FlixBus Expands Routes from Bulgaria: New Connections to Thessaloniki, Athens, and More
FlixBus, the renowned European bus company, is set to launch new routes to and from Bulgaria in anticipation of the summer season
Three people were killed on Friday night after a severe car collision on Trakiya Motorway. Two more people remain in critical condition.
The incident happened in the region close to the village of Belozem, as cars were travelling from Burgas to Sofia, as announced by the Plovdiv Traffic Police Office.
Three cars collided on the motorway, as a BMW crashed into a Mercedes and then dragged along a Volkswagen as the driver was making way towards Sofia.
As a result, all three cars were smashed badly and firefighters rescue teams were called to remove the passengers.
Everyone in the BMW died on the spot, including the 55-year old driver and a woman at the same age. Their companions, aged 24 and 27 were taken to a hospital immediately and are in critical condition.
The 23-year old young man behind the wheel of the Mercedes passed away on the way to the hospital.
The three others, travelling inside the Volkswagen are also under medical surveillance.
Meanwhile, local Traffic Police Office is continuing the investigation on the case.
