Two men have been arrested and charged with helping the attacker who killed two people in Copenhagen at the weekend, the BBC reported on Monday.
Danish police have accused the two men of providing the weapon to the gunman and helping him get rid of it. They are also charged with assisting the perpetrator to hide.
A defence lawyer for the two men, whose names were not released, said they denied the charges. They were arrested on Sunday and will remain in police custody for 10 days.
Danish media reports named the suspected attacker as Danish national Omar El-Hussein, 22.
The gunman was shot dead by police on Sunday after attacking a synagogue and killing a Jewish man in the Danish capital. On Saturday, he attacked a freedom of speech event in a Copenhagen cafe and killed a Danish film director.
Fve police were wounded in the two attacks.
The cafe event was attended by Swedish artist Lars Vilks, who has received death threats for drawings of the Prophet Mohammad, and by French ambassador to Denmark Francois Zimeray, who likened the attacks to the Charlie Hebdo shooting in Paris last month. Vilks and Zimeray were both unharmed.
There were no signs the attacker was part of a wider terror cell,Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt has said.
