The danger of snowstorms remains in the eastern parts of Bulgaria, currently experiencing severe winds, and temperatures will continue to decrease, the National Institute of Hydrology and Meteorology has announced.

Situation will remain critical in many regions as the snowstorm on Friday has also caused power failures across the country, most of which are now fixed.

It will be predominantly cloudy on Monday, with expected further snow falls, mostly in Central Bulgaria. Winds will be coming in from the north, the strongest ones to be experienced in the eastern regions, while they will remain moderately strong in the rest.

The weather in Bulgaria will remain mostly cold over the next week, with maximum temperatures around 5 degrees Celsius expected on Saturday.
