Winter Tourism: 1.8 Million Visit Bulgaria
Bulgaria has witnessed a bustling winter tourism season, with a total of 1.8 million tourists gracing its picturesque landscapes from December 1 to March 25
Bulgaria may attract tourists by advertising as a destination at Spain's airports, bus and train stations and in the AVE high-speed trains, said Spain's Minister Of Public Works Ana Pastor at a meeting with Bulgaria's Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova.
According to the Tourism Ministry's press office, during her meeting with Angelkova, who is on a visit in Spain, Pastor suggested that Bulgaria promotes itself at Madrid's main international airport Adolfo Su?rez Madrid–Barajas Airport and in other major transport hubs across the country.
The eventual advertising campaign will be discussed at the meeting of the joint working group on tourism co-operation next week.
