Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borisov on Monday appointed several deputy ministers under proposals made by the respective heads of ministries.

Katya Todorova, Valentin Poryazov and Rumen Alexandrov will carry on as deputy ministers of foreign affairs – posts to which they had been appointed in August by catetaker Prime Minister Georgi Bliznashki.

Kiril Ananiev, who was Deputy Finance Minister in Bliznashki’s cabinet, will hold the same post in Borisov’s government.

Another Deputy Finance Minister will be Karina Karaivanova. She had been in that position from December 2012 to February 2013 in Borisov’s previous government (2009-2013).

Caretaker Deputy Agriculture Minister Georgi Kostov and Deputy Minister of Sports Kalin Kamenov will keep their posts.

Vasil Grudev, who was caretaker Agriculture Minister until November 6, was appointed Deputy Agriculture Minister. Another deputy in the same ministry will be Tsvetan Dimitrov who had held the same position in Borisov’s  previous government.  

GERB MP Krasimir Tsipov will be Deputy Interior Minister, while Pavel Gudzharov, a member of the previous Parliament, will be Deputy Environment Minister.
