GERB will complete the second round of consultations over potential formation of a government coalition with talks with Socialists on Friday.
Centre-right GERB, which won most votes in Bulgaria’s October 5 early elections but remained short of outright majority, had picked four of the other seven political formations represented in the new Parliament for the second round of consultations.
On Thursday, GERB held talks with left-wing ABV party and the nationalist Patriotic Front.
On Tuesday, the leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) Mihail Mikov said they will take part on a second round of consultations over forming a government coalition if GERB extended an invitation for meaningful political negotiations.
Also on Tuesday, right-wing Reformist Bloc said after a meeting with GERB that had not been announced in advance that they and GERB had come one step closer to а coalition agreement.
