Bulgaria's President Rosen Plevneliev will go on an official visit to Switzerland on October 13-14, the press center of the President’s Office announced.
Bulgarian head of state will meet his Swiss counterpart Didier Burkhalter in Bern, Monday. The two will review the bilateral relations between the two countries and will discuss the opportunities for strengthening and expanding the trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of new Swiss investment projects in Bulgaria.
President Plevneliev will hold meetings with representatives of the Swiss business and banks.
Later on in Geneva, he will meet with the Bulgarian community in Switzerland.
On October 14, Plevneliev will hold talks with representatives of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and the Bulgarian scientific team at the research center.
During his visit, Bulgaria's President will meet with Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee.
