Bulgaria's Interior Ministry, prison and other administrative organizations employees will be given European Convention on Human Rights handbooks for non-specialists, the Ministry of Justice reports.

The handbook is provided by the Council of Europe and has been translated into Bulgarian language. It aims to provide officials with practical guidance on how to comply with the Convention provisions in their work, in order to avoid violations of human rights, Dnevnik.bg informs.

The document contains easily accessible information on the provisions of the Convention, explanations and examples from the European Court of Human Rights regarding Convention violations which have led to convictions.
