Russia’s Turpomosch will evacuate on Friday more than 300 clients of Solvex-Tourne and Versa who have been stranded in Bulgarian resorts since the two Russian tour firms suspended operations.

A flight from Bulgaria’s Burgas to Moscow is scheduled for 5.30pm on September 19, Turpomosch, the association of Russian tour operators for outbound trips, said in a statement on its website.

Another flight, from Burgas to St. Peterrsburg, has also been scheduled for Friday.

According to data of Russia's Union of Tourism Industry, more than 130,000 Russian tourists travelling abroad have been affected by the suspended operations this summer.

More than 10 Russian tour operators have halted activities due to financial difficulties since early July, including Neva, Roza Vetrov Mir and Expo Tour in July, IntAir, The Nordic Star, SurgutKurort and Labirint in August, and Solvex Tourne and Yuzhnii Krest in September.
