An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter Scale was registered in Romania, Wednesday night.

The quake occurred at 22.45 EEST, 135 km north of the capital city of Bucharest, in the seismic zone of Vrancea in the Carpathian Mountains, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

There were no immediate reports of damages or victims.

The temblor was felt in parts of Moldova, as well.
