Andrey Kelin, Russian representative to the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) denied all allegations that there are Russian troops in Ukraine.

According to RT.com, Kelin has given a firm response to the allegations, saying that “we have said that no Russian involvement has been spotted, there are no soldiers or equipment present.”

“Accusations relating to convoys of armored personnel carriers have been heard during the past week and the week before that,” he said. “All of them were proven false back then, and are being proven false again now.”

Earlier on Thursday Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko accused Russia of invading Ukraine and cancelled his visit to Turkey.

He also called in a meeting of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) to discuss further actions and said he will call for a meeting of the UN Security Council.
