Five new district governors are to be appointed at the proposal of Bulgaria's caretaker Prime Minister Georgi Bliznashki.

In Blagoevgrad, Dimitar Dimitrov, Director of cigarette manufacturer Blagoevgrad-BT in the period 1999-2000, will replace Musa Palev, a nominee of liberal party Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), according to reports of dnevnik.bg.

In Plovdiv, Rozalin Petkov, former Deputy District Governor and current Deputy Mayor, will replace Ventsislav Kaymakanov, a nominee of liberal party Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS).

In Ruse, Simeon Ivanov, current Secretary of the Municipal Administration, will replace Ventsislav Kalchev, a nominee of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP).

In Montana, Nina Petkova, former Deputy District Governor, will replace Nikolay Penchev, a nominee of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP).

In Pleven, Boyko Baltakov, architect and former Deputy District Governor, will replace Iliyan Yonchev, a nominee of liberal party Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS).

According to the press office of the caretaker government, Dimitrov, Petkov, Ivanov, Petkova and Baltakov have experience in the spheres of administration and management.

The agenda of Wednesday's sitting of the caretaker government includes 20 points, including a decision on one-off aid to the heirs and successors of the flood victims in the village of Vranilovtsi, Gabrovo District, and the town of Mizia, Vratsa District.
