More than 200 Russian tourists are stranded at the airport of Bulgaria's coast city of Burgas, reports the Nova TV national channel.

The reason is the bankruptcy of the major Russian touroperator Labirint

It had booked the flights with the Russian Orenburg airlines through the company Ideal Tour.
All four flights of the Orenburg airlines from Burgas on Monday have been cancelled.

The majority of the stranded tourists were on vacation at the Golden Sands resort and arrived at the airport for their flights to Moscow and Volograd in the wee hours of Monday morning.

Airport management told Nova TV that there are five flights of other airlines who agreed to take the tourists. Some of them had already boarded other flights, but the remaining say they don't know if they would be able to fly home today.

The bankruptcy of Labirint is the fourth of a Russian touroperator since the beginning of July.
