Horror in Vratsa: Woman Endures Six-Hour Torture by Ex-Husband
A divorced woman faced a horrifying ordeal when her second husband brutally attacked her in her apartment in Vratsa, Bulgaria
A Medieval funeral of a man was found during an archaeological dig near Bulgaria's northwestern town Vratsa, reports the Bulgarian National Radio.
The man was buried near the Vratsata pass, in a Christian manner, but with a large stone on the left side of his chest, where the heart is, said Nartsis Torbov, one of the archaeologists at the site.
According to his colleague Aleksandra Petrova, the placing of a stone on the chest was a Medieval tradition for protection against turning into a vampire or a zombie.
Torbov supposed that the manner of the funeral suggests the deceased was a bad person and the people were scared of him.
