Bulgaria's Tabak Market, owner of the Lafka kiosk chains has a new owner as of end of March, reports Capital Daily, quoting the annual report of Bulgartabak Holding.

Details around the deal are not clear – neither who bought it, nor for how much.
Meanwhile, the Lafka chain, which was allegedly owned by the controversial businessman, MP and candidate for MEP Delyan Peevski, became an official partner of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC).

The two sides signed a four-year partnership contract on Friday, but financial parameters were not made public.

Lafka will provide funding to the BOC and some of the funds will be set aside for children in hard situation.

“We are glad that in those hard times there is someone who would support Bulgarian sport,” said BOC chairperson Stefka Kostadinova, quoted by Bulgarian-language media.
