Bulgaria's three mobile operators will change the mobile phone calls tariffs as of mid-April.
The new tariffs, which come into effect after a decision of Bulgaria's Communications Regulation Commission (CRC), might lower the prices of some phone calls.
Until now, consumers paid according to the so-called 60+1 system, meaning that each call shorter than 60 seconds was charged at the cost of one whole minute. The new tariff, 30+1 means every second after the 30th will be paid separately.
One of the three operators, Vivacom, said it is already offering plans with the new tariff, while the other two – Mtel and Globul, will offer the new subscription plans after April 14.
According to the operators, however, the old tariff 60+1, would also remain into effect.
