Ukraine's Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, issued a stark warning, stating that a third world war would erupt if Russia emerged victorious in the ongoing conflict
Moscow is preparing to send humanitarian aid to the Crimean city of Sevastopol.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin revealed that the aid package will include 500-600 units of medical equipment and medicines for hospitals in Sevastopol, ITAR-TASS informs.
The city government of Russia's capital also approved the sending of 30 buses and trolleybuses, as well as 15 street cleaning vehicles. Computer equipment will be also be donated to schools.
War veterans living in Sevastopol will receive the equivalent of USD 140 in bonuses from the Russian government.
Sevastopol is the port city where Russia's Black Sea Fleet is situated. It is key in Russia's efforts to keep a tight grip on the Crimean peninsula, ahead of the upcoming referendum on its future, scheduled for March 16.
