The world renowned Israeli musician and singer Asaf Avidan will perform live in Sofia, Bulgaria on July 1, 2014.

Avidan's hit single One Day/Reckoning Song became a platinum record in several European countries.

The singer was born in Jerusalem in 1983, but spent much of his childhood years living in Jamaica, where his family was based. He graduates animation at the Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design, before turning to music in 2006, with the formation of his band The Mojos.

Asaf Avidan and The Mojos release their first album, The Reckoning in 2008. His collaboration with German DJ Wankelmut for a dance remix of Reckoning Song shoot him high in the music charts in 2012.

At the end of 2013, the artist revealed his plans for an acoustic tour "Back to Basics", which will pass through the United States and several European countries, including Bulgaria.

Tickets for the concert in Sofia's Palace of Culture (NDK) are on sale from February 17 at the ticket center of NDK and on the website Eventim.
