Bulgaria: US Embarrassed by Leaked Audio Revealing Exchange on Ukraine The US said Victoria Nuland had "apologised for these reported comments." Photo by BGNES

What appears to be a bugged phone conversation in which a senior US diplomat disparages the EU over the Ukraine crisis has been posted online.

A voice resembling that of Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland refers to the EU using a graphic swear word, in a conversation apparently with the US ambassador to Ukraine.
The date and precise context of the recording are not known.

In the video, posted on YouTube, Nuland and the US ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt discuss which of the country’s opposition leaders they would like to see in government – and refer to getting the UN involved in the process to resolve the political crisis.

In the recording the conversation is then as follows, according to Euronews:

Karen Nuland: “So that would be great, I think, to help glue this thing and have the UN help glue it and you know…” At this point she uses a swear word to dismiss the EU.

Geoffrey Pyatt: “Exactly. And I think we’ve got to do something to make it stick together because you can be pretty sure that if it does start to gain altitude, the Russians will be working behind the scenes to try to torpedo it.”

The US said Nuland had "apologised for these reported comments."

EU finds a scape goat
First some European intelligence leaked a phone call of Victoria Nuland with Geoffrey Pyatt with Russian subs. And everyone automatically decided that this is Russian leakage. Now they posted in Youtube conversation of Deputy Secretary General for the EAS Helga Schmid with the EU Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Tombinsky with suspiciously similar subs.
This time they are talking about sanctions against Ukraine. How promptly they work! Russians hadn't managed to understand what frau Schmid is mumbling in German, but once again they turned to be guilty. It looks like Europe wanted to put its hands over Ukraine for its own. And here is notorious talk of our politicians. Shameful but non fatal. Europeans became very agitated by that 'f*ck the EU' and decided to revenge on USA with Inet posting and to lay blame on Russia for wiretaps.
What a clumsy work, you are gooseys :) We'll watch you trying to romp with America.

......yeah, delivering the Torch of Liberty to savages is a hard job!

Why do you say this sasha? Don't you know that Putin is always to blame and the US just want to "export democracy". You know, like in Iraq and Afghanistan...

Unbelievable success, Novinite! No words. The main for You is that "a senior US diplomat disparages the EU over the Ukraine crisis"!!! And the fact, Novinite, the OBVIOUS fact that both USA and EU busily, thriftily, absolutely blatantly and unceremoniously INTERFERE into the home affairs of the independent State, that they decide the future of Ukraine, that they involve UN General Secretary into this shameful mess, it doesn't discourage You at all!? "Putin's regime", You wrote? What about those damned USA/EU regimes!? Yane has already submitted the link, have You seen, Novinite, have You heard WHAT have those two bastards -Nuland and Payette-discussed!? Do see and do listen, Novinite:
