A car with a Bulgarian license plate has exploded in the Austrian capital Vienna, killing 2 people.

Both victims are men, around 50 years old, but their nationality is still unconfirmed.

The car is believed to have been blown up by a hand grenade, reports Nova TV.

"We have no evidence yet, whether the explosive device was thrown at the car or activated inside", say Austrian police officials.
