Bulgarian police has detained two more of the attackers of a 28-year-old man of Turkish origin who was beaten up in Sofia on Saturday.

Police has arrested two more of the assailants of a 28-year-old Bulgarian national of Turkish origin, named Metin, bringing the total number of the detained for the crime to four persons, informs on Monday Dariknews.bg

One of the detainees arrested on Monday is registered in the police for theft and football hooliganism.

Metin was attacked on on Saturday evening by a group of men on the crossing of Pirotska Street and Tsar Samuil Street who knocked him to the ground and kicked him in the head.

Two of his attackers were already detained on Sunday and charged with an attempted murder, while the others managed to run away.

The victim of the attack is in a state of coma and is under treatment in the Military Medical Academy in Sofia.
