The Bulgarian Greens party will not negotiate a coalition with the right-wing Reformist Bloc, but will continue its participation in its Civil Council in an effort to free the country from the mafia.
The information was reported by the Greens co-Chairman Borislav Sandov.
"At the time when we are trying to overthrow the government; are writing an anti-mafia platform for long-term joint action on key issues in the country, it is not appropriate to shift the focus to a possible coalition," said Sandov.
He, however, explained that the issue of electoral coalition has not been discussed in the Civil Council of the Reformist Bloc, but during elections for the European Parliament the Greens party belongs to a different political family.
"Our decisions for an electoral coalition have always been taken by the National Assembly of the party, which will be convened in a month and a half at the earliest," said the Greens co-Chair.
