Sofia City Court has once again postponed its verdict on the extradition of suspected drug lord Evelin Banev aka Brendo to Romania over lacking documents.

The court postponed the verdict in the beginning of October, claiming magistrates needed more information on the case.

At the beginning of July, an Italian court sentenced Banev on first instance to twenty years in jail wrapping up the trial against the so-called "Cocaine Kings".

He was later forced to come to Bulgaria only for the court sessions of the local trial against him.

In a letter to their Bulgarian counterparts, the Romanian court pledged for the presence of Brendo in their country for another trial against the narco boss.

Sofia City Court postponed the trial for December 9, 2013. Meanwhile, Banev remains in the Central Sofia Prison.
