Bulgarian Arrested in Germany for Brutal Rape, Murder

A Bulgarian national has been arrested in the murder in Mannheim of exchange student Gabriele Z. (20) from Lithuania.
The beautiful young woman was raped, strangled with her own scarf, and thrown from a bridge.
According to the German Bild, Bulgarian Emil S. (40) was arrested following a DNA test.
The Mannheim prosecutor and the investigator in the case have offered the first details on Sunday, during a press briefing.
According to German media, Emil S. is from Bulgaria; he is married and has two children. During the interrogation, the sewer worker is said to have shown no emotion, the investigators reported.
The Prosecutor is quoted in saying: "The suspect is a 40 -year-old Bulgarian who is in Germany only since April. He has claimed to have been in prison in Bulgaria already."
According to the investigator, the man was located and arrested in an apartment in the Gr?nstadt district. There, the police found extensive evidence, such as Gabriele's cell phone and a USB flash drive.
After the arrest, a saliva sample was taken from him and it matched the DNA of the murderer.
Emil is said to have slayed the young woman for sexual reasons. Prior to the murder, he also attacked other women.
On August 10, 2013, shortly before midnight he attacked in Speyer a 48 -year-old woman. She struggled, and the perpetrator left her alive, but seriously injured. He took her handbag with her cell phone and wallet and ran.
Just three days ago, Emil has attacked in Gr?nstadt two young girls (13, 17). According to the investigators, he clasped them from behind, tried to draw them into a dark corner of an underpass, but the 17 -year-old fought back with a pair of scissors.
Bild writes that the beautiful Lithuanian psychology student was ambushed on her way home on the night of October 4, and was raped and strangled. Her cell phone was stolen.
Parents of murdered student were informed by telephone the same night.
