Bulgarian Postal Office Robbed at Gunpoint: Bulgarian Postal Office Robbed at Gunpoint Bulgarian police are investigating an armed robbery of a village postal branch, file photo.

A biker has robbed a postal office in the village of Lokorsko near the Bulgarian capital Sofia, the Interior Ministry informs.

The robbery happened around 9 am Friday morning. The man threatened the postal employee with a gun, took the money and fled.

The BGN 7 000 for the retirement pensions of the villagers has been delivered only 10 minutes before the incident.

Police are searching for the perpetrator.
