Local mayoral by-elections are beeing held in various locations in Bulgaria Sunday.
By a decree of President Rosen Plevneliev partial local elections for mayor are scheduled in Hlyabovo in the Topolovgrad municipality, Haskovo region; for mayor of in Tsarimir, municipality of Saedinienie in the Plovdiv region; mayor of the municipality of Belene in the Pleven region; mayor of the municipality of Garmen in the Blagoevgrad region; mayor of Shishmanovo, municipality of Harmanli in the Haskovo region; mayor of Tran in the Pernik region, and mayor of Selcha, municipality of Devin in the Smolyan region.
Election Day started at 7 am and will end at 8 pm. If there is line at the voting poll at 8 am, the casting of ballots will be extended to no later than 9 pm.
