Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Zinaida Zlatanova and Deputy PM and Interior Minister Tsvetelin Yovchev met with the Director-General of the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), Giovanni Kessler in Brussels on Tuesday.

The three discussed their joint efforts in fighting EU-fund related frauds as a necessary measure for maintaining the economic stability of the country, reports Focus agency.

Both sides evaluated the current cooperation as stable, but agreed there is room for improvement.

The Bulgarian representatives have also voiced their support for the proposed creation of a European Prosecution. They believe it would work as a safeguard for the financial activities within the union.
